Ms. Kiondra Broadway independently organized and led the first, Diversity Council Conference, for the University of Maryland Global Campus Asia, Diversity Council at the Asia Division headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.

The Diversity Council Conference provided professional development to council members from mainland Japan, Okinawa, & Korea to support their roles as diversity advocates and employees of UMGC. The conference provided the council the opportunity to team build, strategically plan upcoming initiatives, receive recognition from our leadership team via a pinning ceremony, and facilitate an open house for new members.
